Hi! I’m Marzio (Mar-tsi-o).

I was born in Italy and have lived in the States for the past 20 years. I moved here to study and play music (bass player here!), and and since life always unravels in the most unexpected ways, I ended up started shooting photos professionally in the mid 2010s.

Over the years, I’ve shot hundreds of weddings, most of them in NYC. New York is a special place, and it’s where I’ve come to appreciate how different each story can feel, while at the core, they’re often about the same things.

That’s what’s kept me drawn to it.

Weddings always move faster than people expect. One minute you’re getting ready, and the next it’s the last song of the night. I try to keep things calm and straightforward so you don’t feel pulled out of it.

I’m not big on turning the day into a production. I prefer a candid, on-your-feet approach. My work leans documentary, with just enough guidance to keep things moving without it feeling forced.

Nothing overly posed, just honest moments, as they happen.
